Batmobile evolution
The early models of the Batmobile were quite simple. The Batmobile appeared in the early comics as a red sports vehicle with a bat windscreen. It was a modified production vehicle with no special weaponry or gadgets.
In the 1960s, the Batmobile was transformed for the television series "Batman," starring Adam West. This iteration of the Batmobile was a 1955 Lincoln Futura modified with ailerons, lateral escape tunnels, hidden weapons, and gadgets. The Batmobile from the television series has become a popular icon and is widely regarded as one of the most iconic forms of the Batmobile.
The Batmobile was darkened and made more modern in the 1980s. This variant had slanted bat-shaped headlights and was more aerodynamic. This Batmobile was featured in the movie "Batman" and "Batman Returns."
The Batmobile was further changed in the 1990s to become more powerful and aggressive. This version of the Batmobile had larger wheels and exhausts that protruded from the rear. This incarnation appeared in the movies "Batman Forever" and "Batman & Robin."The Batmobile has continued to develop since then. The Batmobile has become more tactical in recent pictures, with hidden weapons and sophisticated surveillance technology.
